Spectra Geospatial Origin is the new, modern field software supporting complete land survey workflows for all your projects and jobs. Intuitive and reliable, Origin provides map-based workflows for one-tap, easy-to-use measuring, feature coding, coordinate geometry calculation, and stakeout.

The Origin software supports both the Windows® and Android™ operating systems and can be installed to a range of supported Spectra Geospatial controllers. Depending on your software license type, you can use Origin with GNSS receivers, conventional robotic or mechanical instruments, or maximize the advantages of both GNSS and conventional in an integrated survey.

Key features:

• Map-centric software supports an extensive range of map files including DXF, RXL, LandXML, IFC and DTM so that you can use the same files in the field and office.

• Use the Layer Manager to quickly set which map files, points, and linework are visible or selectable in the map.

• Cloud connectivity enables data to be shared easily between field and office.

• Create and save hardware connection parameters in survey styles for equipment connection in an instant.

• Add shortcuts to your favorite functions or assign them to a function key on the controller.

• Map-based stakeout of points, lines, polylines, and arcs provides context and clear navigation to the required location.

• Add the Spectra Geospatial Roads app to add powerful features to enhance stakeout of roads and alignments.
